Travel information
The following information is useful prior to departure in order to make time spent in the airport more comfortable, - from traveler services (check-in, security checkpoints, etc.), to public services (e.g. banks, currency exchange points), shops and dining.
Roma - Ciampino Airport, only 15 kilometers outside Rome, can easily be reached by car, taxi, train, bus or shuttle.
Passengers of flight XXXXX are informed that following the delay, departure will take place from Rome Fiumicino airport, in compliance with Ministerial Decree 345/2018 which provides for the closure of Rome Ciampino airport to commercial flight operations (takeoffs and landings) in the night time slot 11.00pm - 6.00am. Travellers are therefore invited to contact the airline to find out how to transfer to Rome Fiumicino airport.
Airport Terminals are closed:
- From 00:00 am to 6:00 am - Arrivals
- The Departures Terminal is open at night, from 11.00pm to 4.00am, exclusively for passengers holding a travel document valid for the next 24 hours.
