The radio in the airport

Fiumicino airport is enriching itself with a further point of connection with its passengers and the airport community thanks to OnAirport, the Airport Radio.

Thanks to the partnership with RTL 102.5, at the Boarding Area A Piazza at Fiumicino Airport, Terminal 1, a radio station is operation with speakers and young ADR reporters, who, as part of the RTL 102.5 schedule, Radio Zeta – a point of reference for young people – RTL 102.5 News and within the programme “Protagonisti” [“Protagonists”], broadcast from Monday to Friday from 19:00 to 21:00, tell interesting stories and news about the Rome airport.

Moreover, from next September, the "OnAirport" project will be further expanded to become a real radio workshop involving young Communications students from Rome's La Sapienza and Luiss Guido Carli Universities and the University of Teramo, enabling them to gain important professional experience as radio presenters in a unique and lively environment such as the airport.
