Newton Rome

Newton Rome, born from the collaboration between Aeroporti di Roma, Boeing and non-profit organisation First Scandinavia, is a multimedia classroom that offers orientation in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) connected to the world of air transport for third year middle school and first year high school students from the local area and the entire Lazio region.

At Newton Rome, students will calculate routes in kilometres and nautical miles, analyse flight time, use compasses and protractors to orient themselves in space, and will also have the opportunity to use technological equipment such as flight simulators.
