On the occasion of International Women’s Day, we launched a new initiative: Women’s Car Parks. Parking will be easier for all women in departure from Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci airport. Women travellers will find special parking spaces in the car parks at the airport, outlined in pink. In addition, the dedicated parking spaces will be larger by about a metre to allow easier loading and unloading of pushchairs and to make it easier for pregnant women to move.

The number of spaces reserved for new mothers and pregnant women is twenty-eight. There are fifty-two spaces for all other women departing, both on the 4^th floor of the Multi-storey Comfort D car park, located opposite Terminal 3 and in sector 2 of the Long-stay Economy car park, which is about eight minutes from the terminals and connected to them with a complimentary shuttle service which leaves every ten minutes.

The reserved areas of the car parks are equipped with cameras operating 24 hours a day, an SOS call system and automatic payment machines to facilitate payment, equipped with a call button connected to Customer Services, operational every day of the week.
